Bio
Alex Sumner joined the Concordia baseball staff before the 2025 season.
He works primarily with infielders while also helping with the offense.
Sumner has a prominent presence in the F-M area as a baseball instructor. He currently serves as the President and CEO of Fargo Area Sports.
Sumner played collegiately at Dakota Wesleyan where he graduated with a degree in Sport Management.
After playing at Dakota Wesleyan, Sumner went on to play independent baseball in the New York State league for three seasons where he led the league in batting average and stolen bases.
Sumner went on to serve as a volunteer assistant coach at Minn.-Crookston from 2016-18.
