Eight Cobbers Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors
Concordia had eight student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
MOORHEAD, Minn. (1/07/25)---Concordia had eight student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
McHale Korf (Jr. Pelican Rapids, Minn.), Noah Lacey (Jr. Sparks, Nev./Spanish Springs HS), Daunte Leiran (Sr., New York Mills, Minn.), Owen Miller (Sr., Aitkin, Minn.), PJ Parmelee (Sr., Tea, S.D.), Jacob Pipho (Jr., Decorah, Iowa), Mitchell Sullivan (Sr., Annandale, Minn.) and Collin Thompson (Sr., Thatcher, Ariz.) all earned Academic All-District honors.
Miller, Sullivan and Thompson earn the academic honor for the second straight year and Thompson went on to earn CSC Academic All-American honors last year.
The eight players helped Concordia finish tied for second in the MIAC – the highest conference finish since 2014. The Cobbers finished with a 7-3 overall record and a 6-2 mark in league play. The seven total wins were the most since the 2017 season.
The CSC Academic All-District team is part of the CSC Academic All-America program. To be eligible student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a grade-point average above 3.50 (4.0 scale), have played in at least 90 percent, or started 60 percent, of the team's games throughout the season and have outstanding athletic credentials.
Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced at the end of January.
The Division III Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure, to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Division III Academic All-America teams' program.
