MOORHEAD, Minn. (10/27/25)---Concordia sophomore linebacker Kyle Mages (Osakis, Minn.) was named the MIAC Defensive Player of the Week for his outstanding performance in the Cobbers' 26-7 win at Augsburg on Saturday.
Mages becomes the third Cobber player to earn MIAC weekly honors. He joins Jacob Pipho and Davion Henderson as recipients of the conference award.

His second interception of the afternoon came on the very next drive at the Cobbers' own three-yard line, preventing an Augsburg score. Mages has now come up with three interceptions in the last two games.
Mages finished the game with 9.0 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss and the two interceptions.
Mages leads Concordia in tackles, tackles for a loss and interceptions this season. He has 27 solo tackles and 23 assisted tackles for 50 total tackles. Mages has posted 6.0 tackles for a loss and the trio of INTs.
