Another Week, Another Conference Award For Cook
Another week, another conference weekly award for senior Jacob Cook (Ashby, Minn.). Cook was named the MIAC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday which marks the third time this season he has won a player of the week honor from the conference office and the sixth time in his career that he has been chosen for a weekly award.

Cook was named the MIAC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday which marks the third time this season he has won a player of the week honor from the conference office and the sixth time in his career that he has been chosen for a weekly award.
The six MIAC Player of the Week honors are the most by any player in program history.
Cook earned his latest MIAC Defensive Player of the Week after averaging 16.0 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 27.0 points in posting double-doubles in both of Concordia's two wins last week. The two victories helped Concordia finish in a tie for second place in the final league standings - the team's highest finish since 2013.
Cook started the week by scoring 27 points and grabbing 18 rebounds in the Cobbers' win over St. Olaf. He duplicated his point total in the regular season finale at St. Scholastica and also had 14 rebounds as Concordia posted an 87-74 win.
His 32-rebound week helped Cook finish the season by leading the MIAC in rebounding.
Cook finished the year by posting double-doubles in the last four games and had a league-leading 13 during the season.
Cook, and the rest of the Cobbers, will begin postseason play when they host No.5 seed Carleton on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m.
