Cook Named D3hoops.com All-Region 9 First Team
Concordia senior Jacob Cook (Ashby, Minn.) added to his postseason award total by being named to the D3hoops.com All-Region 9 First Team.
MOORHEAD, Minn. (3/16/26)---Concordia senior Jacob Cook (Ashby, Minn.) added to his postseason award total by being named to the D3hoops.com All-Region 9 First Team.
Cook becomes the first Cobber player to receive D3hoops.com All-Region First Team honors since Jordan Bolger earned the award in 2016. He is only the second player in program history to receive the All-Region First Team award. Cook is now eligible for D3hoops.com All-American honors.
Cook, who receives the first All-Region award of his career, also took home MIAC Offensive Player of the Year honors and was named to the MIAC All-Conference Team for the second straight season.
Cook played in 26 of the Cobbers' 27 games and led the team in scoring, rebounding and assists. He averaged 21.4 points. 11.1 rebounds and 3.3 helpers per game.
Cook scored at least 10 points in all but one game, threw down at least 20 points on 17 occasions and put up a career-high 32 points against Wis.-River Falls.
On the glass, Cook recorded 16 games with at least 10 rebounds and came away with a career-high 21 boards against Gustavus.
Cook finished the year with 15 double-double which was the most by any player in the MIAC this season.
Cook also led the conference in scoring and rebounding and was sixth in assists.
