Engel Named All-MIAC For The Second Straight Season
Ryan Engel (Jr., Twin Valley, Minn./Ada-Borup HS) was officially named to the MIAC All-Conference Team as announced by the league office of Monday. Engel earns his second straight All-Conference honor and is the 15th player in program history to bae named to the All-MIAC Team in back-to-back seasons.
MOORHEAD, Minn. (5/11/26)---Ryan Engel (Jr., Twin Valley, Minn./Ada-Borup HS) was officially named to the MIAC All-Conference Team as announced by the league office of Monday.
Engel earns his second straight All-Conference honor and is the 15th player in program history to bae named to the All-MIAC Team in back-to-back seasons. The last Cobber to accomplish the feat was Mason Opheim, who earned the honors in 2020 and 2021.

With Engel being placed on the All-Conference team, Concordia has now had at least one golfer earn All-MIAC honors in 17 straight seasons.
The MIAC releases the All-Conference list after the spring portion of the season, even though the conference championship meet takes place in the fall.
The MIAC Men's Golf All-Conference team was selected using a combination of MIAC championship results and end-of-season voting. The top 10 finishers (including ties) at the MIAC Championship last fall automatically earned All-MIAC honors, and coaches nominated and voted on five additional players to the All-MIAC squad based on their body of work throughout the season.
Engel earned his second All-MIAC honor by finishing in a tie for sixth place at the MIAC Championship Meet held at Edinburgh GC in Brooklyn Park at the end of September.
Engel was never out of the Top 10 on all three days of the championship tournament and finished in a tie for sixth place with a score of 224 (73-76-75).
Engel finished the 2025-26 season with a team-leading 72.9 scoring average over the 19 official rounds he played in. Engel also carded the three lowest single-round scores of the year for Concordia. He posted a season-best 68 in the third round of the Twin Cities Classic – a week after the MIAC Championship Meet.
