NORTHFIELD, Minn. (11/02/24)---The Cobbers finished off their 2024 season by dropping a 6-0 decision to defending national champion St. Olaf.
Concordia conceded four goals in the first half and two more in the second frame to end their season with a 1-13-3 record. CC was 0-8-2 in conference play.
With the win, St. Olaf claimed a share of the MIAC regular-season championship. The Oles are 12-4-3 in all games and 8-0-2 in the conference.
The Cobbers had one shot in the game which came in the first half from the foot of Gannon Brooks.
Concordia goalie Jensen Waltz made 13 saves in goal for the Cobbers. It's the second time in the last three games that Waltz posted a double-digit save total.
Waltz finished the season with 88 saves which was third most in the MIAC this season. He posted 67 stops in conference play which was also No.3 on the league list.
Waltz ended his career with 210 saves. That total is sixth most on the school's all-time save list.
