Second-Half Goal Proves The Difference Against St. Mary's

MOORHEAD, Minn. (10/04/25)---Concordia conceded the only goal of the game in the 14th minute of the second half and lost 1-0 to St. Mary's.
The Cobbers had several chances from in-close during the game but couldn't capitalize and dropped the 1-goal decision.
The loss moves Concordia's record to 0-7-4 on the season. CC is 0-3-1 in conference play. The Cardinals earn their first MIAC win of the year and are now 3-6-3 in all games and 1-3-1 against league opponents.
Concordia posted 12 shots in the game, which is the most in a conference game this year for the Cobbers. CC also had four shots on goal.
Senior forward Gannon Brooks had a game-high four shots with one on frame. Ricco Rolle and Johan Lizarraga both had two total shots and one on goal.
Cobber goalie Jack Solheid made three saves in the game.
Concordia will have a week before their next contest when they play at St. Scholastica on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m.
