Cobbers Celebrate Seniors Before Season Finale
Concordia-Moorhead’s men’s soccer team closed out its 2025 season at home Saturday, falling 6-0 to Augsburg in their final game of the year.
Moorhead, Minn. (11/1/25) – Augsburg struck early in the first half when Mitchel Munzing scored at 5:55 with assists from Remus Repcak and Diego Veit, giving the Auggies a 1-0 lead. Diego Veit added to the advantage at 16:56 off a feed from Munzing, putting Augsburg ahead 2-0. Concordia-Moorhead created chances throughout the opening half, including shots from Colin Moore, Cooper Svaleson, and Ricco Rolle but goalkeeper Christian Hodges and Augsburg's defense held firm.
In the second half, Augsburg continued to control the game, scoring four more goals. Carver Tierney found the net at 46:40, Jacob Thao scored at 70:34, Dailan Bangu added a goal at 74:36, and Thao added his second of the night at 86:25 to complete the 6-0 scoring.
