Senior Leo Smith led the Cobbers for the fifth straight time this season, but it was a trio of freshmen that showed a bright future for Concordia at the Jim Crews Invitational hosted by Wis.-La Crosse.
Concordia ended its 2-week break from competition by finishing fifth at the Jimmie Invitational. The Cobbers had all seven runners post season-best times.
