MELBOURNE, Fla. (3/07/26)--- Concordia used a late-inning surge to post another walk-off win in Florida. The Cobbers scored three runs in the sixth and seventh frames to rally and beat Wis.-Superior in the next-to-last game in Florida.
The win is the fourth straight for CC and seventh in their nine games on their spring training trip.
The Cobbers trailed 3–1 heading into the sixth after Wis.-Superior manufactured single runs in the first, fourth and fifth innings.
Concordia's offense broke through in the bottom of the sixth when Reese Hauck singled and Megan Guggisberg delivered a huge hit as she knocked an opposite‑field single to left that drove in both Hauck and Kailee Falconer to tie the game at 3–3.
The Cobbers completed the rally in the bottom of the seventh when Kate Gulbranson led off with a double and pinch‑runner Alexa Krueger moved to third on a sacrifice bunt. Moments later, Krueger sprinted home on a wild pitch to seal the win.
Hauck finished with a run and an RBI, while Falconer, Morgan Guggisberg, Megan Guggisberg, Jocelyn Maki and Gulbranson each added hits as part of a balanced Cobber lineup. Morgan Guggisberg's earlier triple set up Concordia's first run in the fourth, a sacrifice fly by Hauck that cut the deficit to 2–1.
Concordia will finish off its Florida trip when they square off against Emerson at 4:45 p.m.
