Which single-game team record do you want? Take your pick. Most points in a single game? Yep. Most points in a quarter? Yep. Most points in a half? Yep. And the list goes on. Concordia scored 49 points in the first quarter and 85 in the opening half of play as they overwhelmed Providence-Manitoba 150-44 in the home opener on Friday.

Concordia scored 49 points in the first quarter and 85 in the opening half of play as they overwhelmed Providence-Manitoba 150-44 in the home opener on Friday.
The 150 total points eclipse the previous single-game high for the Cobbers which came in 1987 when they dropped 117 on Hamline. CC also had 117 against Augsburg in 1989.
The Cobbers had eight players with at least 10 points and had all 17 players score at least two points.
Concordia finished the game by connecting on 57 field goals and went 57-for-94 (60.6%) from the field. The 60.6% field goal percentage is not a program record. The 1989 team that put up 117 against the Auggies shot 69.0% from the floor.
The Cobbers also connected on 14 shots from outside the arc. They were 14-for-25 from 3-point land.
Concordia forced 43 turnovers, dished out 40 assists and had 26 steals in the game.
Junior Molly Musland led all players with a career-high 19 points. She was 8-for-9 from the floor and 3-3 from distance.
Senior guard Carlee Sieben had 17 points in 11 minutes of play. She did all her scoring in the first quarter and went 6-for-12 from the field.
Olivia Hanson, Taya Jeffrey and Alexa Snesrud all came away with career-high point totals. Hanson was 5-for-9 from the field and ended the game with 14 points. She also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. Snesrud was a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor and 3-for-3 from 3-point range and had 13 points, while Jeffrey added 11 points.
First-year forward Ellie Welch came off the bench to score 10 points and was 4-for-5 from the field.
Concordia will return to playing teams from the United States when they face Wis.-Stout in Menomonie, Wis. on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m.
