Cobbers Can't Find Offensive Rhythm At #10 Gustavus

ST. PETER, Minn. (12/7/24)---The Cobbers could never find their offensive rhythm and lost 57-42 at No.10-ranked Gustavus.
Concordia (3-4, 0-2 MIAC) finished the game by shooting 32.0% (16-for-50) from the floor and 28.6% (6-for-21) from 3-point range as they fell by 15 points.
Gustavus (7-0, 2-0 MIAC) made 45.7% (21-for-46) of their attempts from the floor and only 20.0% (2-for-10) of their shots from outside the arc as neither team could find the range from distance.
One of the key stats in the game came from turnovers where Concordia committed 24 miscues and the Gusties turned that into a 20-9 edge in points off of turnovers.
Another key stat came at the foul line where Concordia shot only six free throws, while the Gusties attempted 19 foul shots. CC went 4-for-6 from the line and GAC was 13-for-19 (68.4%).
Senior Jordyn Kahler was the only Cobber player to score more than six points in the game. She was 6-for-12 from the floor and had 16 points. The 16 points are a season high and it's the second time in the last three games that she has posted a double-digit point total.
Senior Greta Tollefson added six points and Peyton Breidenbach and Carlee Sieben had five points each.
Makayla Anderson recorded a team-high six rebounds.
Concordia will finish off the MIAC portion of its schedule in 2024 when they play at Augsburg on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m.
