Concordia-Moorhead women’s basketball earned national recognition this week as the Cobbers were ranked No. 24 in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll for Week Seven, the organization announced Monday.
MOORHEAD, Minn. (Jan. 20, 2026) — Concordia women's basketball earned national recognition this week as the Cobbers were ranked No. 24 in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll for the week of Jan. 19.
After a dominant start to the season, Concordia claimed the 24th spot with 64 points and will look to continue climbing the national rankings as the season progresses. The D3hoops.com Top 25 poll is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, sports information directors and media members from across the country.
The Cobbers are off to a 13-2 overall record and hold a 7-1 mark in MIAC play. Their 10-win start marked Concordia's fastest climb to double-digit victories since the 1988 NCAA Division III National Championship season.
Concordia is the only MIAC program ranked in this week's poll and currently sits atop the conference standings.
The national ranking follows a dominant week for the Cobbers, who earned a 70-66 road win over Gustavus and a commanding 89-55 victory against Augsburg.
Nationally, New York University, Scranton and UW–Oshkosh occupy the top three spots in the Week Five rankings.
Concordia will face a challenging week ahead, beginning with a road matchup against Macalester on Wednesday, Jan. 21, before traveling to face Bethel on Saturday, Jan. 25. Bethel has appeared in the national Top 25 earlier this season.
