Cobber Women’s Basketball Earns National Ranking, Checks in at No. 21

MOORHEAD, Minn. (2/17/26) — Concordia-Moorhead women's basketball earned national recognition this week as the Cobbers were ranked No. 21 in the Week 11 D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll, the organization announced Monday.
After a dominant season, Concordia secured the No. 21 spot with 135 points and will look to continue its climb in the national rankings as the postseason approaches. The D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, sports information directors and media members from across the country.
The ranking marks the fifth week this season that the Cobbers have appeared in the national poll. Concordia debuted at No. 25 in Week 5, moved to No. 24 in Weeks 7 and 9, climbed to No. 22 in Week 10 and now sits at No. 21 in Week 11.
This season has also featured a major milestone for the program, as head coach Kim Wagers recorded her 100th career victory.
The Cobbers are 20-3 overall and hold a 14-2 mark in MIAC play. Concordia is the only MIAC program ranked in this week's poll and currently sits atop the conference standings.
The national ranking follows another strong week on the court. The Cobbers earned a 78-71 road win over St. Catherine on Wednesday, Feb. 11, before posting a 77-49 home victory against Macalester on Saturday.
Nationally, New York University, University of Scranton and Johns Hopkins University occupy the top three spots in the Week 11 rankings.
Concordia will wrap up regular-season play this week, hosting St. Olaf on Wednesday and St. Scholastica on Saturday. The MIAC Playoffs begin Tuesday, Feb. 24. As the current No. 1 seed in the conference standings, the Cobbers are set to host a playoff game on Thursday, Feb. 26.
