History Made: MIAC Champs Move Up to No. 19 in National Rankings
For the first time in program history Concordia has entered the Top 20 of the D3hoops.com national rankings.
MOORHEAD, Minn. (2/24/26) - For the first time in program history Concordia has entered the Top 20 of the D3hoops.com national rankings.
The Cobbers, who claimed the MIAC regular season championship last week, are ranked 19th in the latest D3hoops poll. Concordia was No.21 in last week's Division III rankings and moved up two spots after posting wins over St. Olaf and St. Scholastica to close out the regular season.
Concordia enters postseason play with a 22-3 overall record. The 22 wins mark the second time in the past four seasons that the Cobbers have won 22 games. CC has also posted three 20-win campaigns during that 4-year stretch.
The Cobbers have been positioned in the Top 25 of the D3hoops.com rankings for five weeks this season and have used an 8-game win streak to climb into the Top 20. The 8-game victory stretch is the longest of the season and most since they won nine straight in the 2023 season.
Concordia will open postseason play when they host the MIAC semifinals on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
