Metcalf Receives Rare All-American Double
Maya Metcalf became only the third player in Concordia history to receive WBCA and D3hoops.com All-American honors in the same season.
MOORHEAD, Minn. (3/23/26)---Concordia sophomore forward Maya Metcalf (West Fargo, N.D./West Fargo Cheyenne HS) was named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and D3hoops.com All-American Teams.
Metcalf becomes only the third player in program history to be named to receive WBCA and D3hoops.com All-American honors in the same season.
Metcalf earned WBCA All-American Honorable Mention honors and was placed on the D3hoops.com All-American Third Team.

Metcalf becomes the 20th player in school history to receive WBCA All-American honors and the fourth to receive the award from D3hoops.com which began their All-American program in 1998.
Metcalf led Concordia in scoring, rebounding and blocks in 2026. She averaged 16.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in the 31 games she played in during the season.
Metcalf finished the year with 509 points to become only the eighth player in program history to reach the 500-point mark for a single season.
Her total of 262 rebounds for the year ranks among the Top 10 in Cobber school history as well.
Metcalf scored at least 10 points in 26 games and crossed the 20-point mark on eight occasions. Metcalf's highwater mark for points came against St. Catherine when she netted 32 points to become only the 10th player in program lore t score at least 30 points in a single game.
Metcalf had eight games where she collected at least 10 rebounds and had a career-high 22 boards in Concordia's Sweet 16 win over Johns Hopkins. The 22 rebounds were the fourth highest single-game total by a CC player in history.
