SAINT PAUL, MINN. (9/20/25) – Concordia College women's soccer battled hard but fell 6-0 to St. Catherine University on the road Friday.
The Wildcats controlled much of the match, opening the scoring in the 60th minute when Bella Meier finished a precise feed from Emily Olson. St. Catherine added five more goals in the second half, with Briana Henaman, Lillia Gray, and Katie McGrath all finding the back of the net.
Concordia created chances throughout the game, with shots from Darby Hannan, Ella Shinn, Ava Sylvester, and Emma Sheflo keeping the Wildcats' goalkeeper busy. Julia Roark made 13 saves, showcasing her effort and resilience in goal.
Both teams made several substitutions, and free kicks, corner kicks, and throw-ins provided competitive moments, but St. Catherine's depth and attacking strength proved decisive.
The Cobbers now look to regroup and turn their focus to a quick turnaround as they travel to face Wis.-La Crosse tomorrow at 4:00 PM.
