NORTHFIELD, Minn. (10/1/25) – Concordia fell 5-0 in a conference matchup at Carleton on Wednesday afternoon.
Goalkeeper Julia Roark was busy from the opening whistle, turning away four shots in the first 11 minutes and finishing the day with 10 saves, including seven in the first half.
The Knights broke through in the 32nd minute when Claire Burbery found the net. She added another just two minutes later and completed a first-half hat trick in the 42nd minute, giving Carleton a 3-0 halftime lead.
Concordia created opportunities in the opening frame as Emma Sheflo placed a shot on target that forced a stop from Carleton keeper Avery Trapp.
Carleton added two more tallies in the second half, with Ashlyn Haigh and Rian Fitzpatrick scoring to extend the margin. The Cobbers finished the match with six total shots, including three on goal.
Concordia returns home this weekend, hosting Saint Mary's on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. as part of the Cobbers' Homecoming festivities.
