ST. JOSEPH, Minn. (10/25/25) — The Cobbers' back line and goalkeeper Julia Roark kept the Bennies off the board for over 80 minutes, turning away multiple scoring chances. Roark made several key stops, including back-to-back saves early in the second half and another in the 76th minute to keep the game level.
Saint Benedict broke through in the 82nd minute when Addison Stephani finished a shot into the upper left corner off an assist from Summer Seamans.
Concordia pressed for an equalizer late, with Hannah Mukhtar firing a shot on frame in the 89th minute, but the Bennies' keeper came up with the save to preserve the win.
The Cobbers totaled 10 shots in the match, including seven on goal, while Roark collected six saves in net. Emma Sheflo led the shots with 3 shots, all of which were on goal.
Concordia will look to bounce back when they travel to Eau-Claire on October 26th for a 3:00 game.
