Cobbers Kick Off 2026 AT MSUM Dragon Invite

MOORHEAD, Minn. (1/17/26) — Concordia totaled 162 points and placed fourth overall at the Dragon Invite, highlighted by multiple scoring swims and strong relay performances.
On the boards, Molly McMullen paced Concordia with a ninth-place finish in the 1-meter diving event, scoring 248.65 in a deep field. Competing with her 12-dive list, McMullen put together a strong round, highlighted by solid execution in her five voluntary dives.
In the pool, Christina Moore recorded a scoring finish in the 200 backstroke, touching the wall in 2:36.68 for 21st place, and added a third-place finish in the 1650 freestyle. Moore also contributed to all three Cobber relay teams during the meet.
Porter continued her strong mid-season form with a ninth-place finish in the 1000 freestyle, posting a lifetime-best time of 13:11.95.
Leah Enedy turned in one of Concordia's most well-rounded individual weekends. The junior placed fifth in the 200 breaststroke (2:43.36) and added a 16th-place finish in the 200 IM (2:30.42), securing valuable points for the Cobbers.
Vylet Frank added scoring finishes in both butterfly and freestyle events, including 23rd in the 100 fly (1:20.97) and 16th in the 100 free (1:05.71). Her time in the 100 fly marked a season-best performance. Rosie Tran matched Frank's consistency, finishing 24th in the 100 fly (1:23.95) and adding points in the 200 backstroke.
Concordia closed out the meet with a full slate of relay events. The Cobbers' top 200 freestyle relay of Porter, Moore, Enedy, and Tran finished in 1:56.53, while the 400 medley relay of Moore, Enedy, Porter, and Frank clocked a 4:52.46 to cap the final session.
The Cobbers finished fourth overall with 162 points, trailing meet champion Concordia–St. Paul, Minnesota State Moorhead, and Jamestown.
Concordia returns to action on Wednesday, January 24, for a dual at the University of Jamestown.
