Kalevik Leads Cobbers On Day 1 At MIAC Meet

Junior Jenna Kalevik continued her tremendous breakout season as she won the high jump to lead Concordia on Day 1 at the MIAC Championship Meet. The Cobbers only got team points in two different events, but are poised to make a run on Saturday with seven athletes qualifying for the finals in track events.

Maddie Guler comes out of the turn and heads for home in the 400 meters at the NDSU Tune-Up Meet. She won her heat with a time of 1:02.07.

Concordia finished off the “regular season” by competing in Fargo at the North Dakota State Bison Tune-Up Meet. The Cobbers came away with a trio of program Top 5 marks as they prepared for the MIAC Championship Meet next weekend.

Speedsters Shine On Day 1 at MIAC Indoor Meet

The Cobber speedsters led the way on Day 1 at the MIAC Indoor Championship Meet. Concordia received 17 of their 26.50 team points on Friday from athletes in the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles.

Sophomore Emily Rengo ran the second fastest time in school history in the 60-meter dash at the NDSU Bison Open.

The times are starting to get faster, the heights are becoming higher and the distances are farther as Concordia starts to go deeper into the indoor season.

Junior Jenna Kalevik posted an MIAC Top 10 mark in the 60-meter hurdles at the UND Open. She raced to a time of 9.63.

Concordia headed north for its first away meet of the 2024 indoor season and came away with eight Top 5 finishes and five all-time Cobber marks at the UND Open.
