Cobbers Finish Off Home Season Against League-Leading Bethel

Concordia finished off the home portion of its schedule by dropping a pair of games to league-leading Bethel. The first inning in both games proved to be costly for the Cobbers. CC gave up six runs in Game 1, rallied to get to within one but lost 8-6. The Royals followed the 6-run first in the opener with a 3-run first in Game 2 and went on to win 10-3.

Multi-Run Innings Cost Cobbers At Augsburg

Concordia was done in by three multi-run innings in their twibill at Augsburg. The Cobbers gave up a 3-run second inning in the opener and fell 4-1 and allowed two runs in each of the third and eighth frames in Game 2 and lost 5-0.

Manic Monday

Less than 24 hours after completing its doubleheader at home against Macalester, the Cobbers traveled to St. Paul to take on Hamline in another conference double dip. Unfortunately for Concordia, they were unable to keep their Game 2 momentum against the Scots going and lost 3-2 and 7-2 vs. the Pipers.

Slow Starts Cost Cobbers In Northfield

Concordia couldn’t contain the St. Olaf offense and dropped a pair of conference games on the road. The Cobbers staged a late rally in the opener only to fall 13-6 and then gave up five runs in the first two innings of the finale and lost 9-2.

Concordia dropped both of its games on Day 6 of their annual spring trip to Florida. The Cobbers fell 10-0 to No.19-ranked Wis.-Oshkosh in the opener and lost 3-1 to Warburg in Game 2 on Thursday.
