NORTHFIELD, Minn. (9/30/25)---Concordia and Carleton played to a scoreless tie in the first game of the second half of the season for the Cobbers.
The 0-0 tie pushes Concordia's season record to 0-6-4. The four ties are the most in a single season in Cobber program history. CC is now 0-2-1 in conference. Carleton moves to 5-3-1 in all games and 1-2-1 against MIAC opponents.
The game was played predominantly in Concordia's end with the Knights holding the majority of the possession and the Cobbers trying to create scoring chances on the counter.
Carleton held a 29-5 advantage in total shots and a 7-2 edge in shots on goal. The Knights also posted a 13-1 margin in corner kicks taken.
Nickolaus Herrboldt led the Cobbers with two total shots and one on goal.
Goalie Jack Solheid stopped all seven shots he faced to record his first collegiate shutout.
Concordia will return to action when they host St. Mary's on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. as part of the annual Homecoming festivities.
