Steeplechase Crew Leads Cobbers In Winona

The steeplechase trio of Tanner Olson, Gavin Groshelle and Nick Tryznka led the Concordia crew at the SMU Cardinal Invitational in Winona. The three Cobbers posted a 1-2-3 finish in the steeplechase and were a part of a group of seven Top 3 finishers for Concordia.

Wade Rhonemus competed in the decathlon at the Cobbers' first outdoor meet of the season. He posted the No.7 score in DIII this year.
Quality Over Quantity In Outdoor Season Opener

It was quality over quantity in the outdoor opener for Concordia. Because of the holiday weekend, the Cobbers took a select group to the USD Early Bird Invite, and came away with a pair of school records and a Top 10 national mark.

Cal Wright broke the school record in the 200 meters, and helped the Cobber 4x200-meter relay team with the event at the MIAC Indoor Meet.

Cal Wright led the Cobber contingent on the final day at the MIAC Indoor Meet. He helped the 4x200-meter relay team capture the conference title and then broke the 9-year-old school record in the 200 meters.

The 2023 Season Is Officially Here

Concordia opened the 2023 indoor season by hosting the annual Cobber Open. Senior Solomon Johnson and sophomore Joe Lee led the team as they posted event wins at the meet that didn’t feature team scores.
