Makayla Anderson, Maddie Guler, Jordyn Kahler and Greta Tollefson all earned CSC Academic All-District honors. It is the second straight year for Anderson to receive the honor, while Guler, Kahler and Tollefson all earn the award for the first time in their careers.

Second-Half Surge Can't Overcome First-Half Frustration

Concordia outscored No.20-ranked Illinois Wesleyan 35-31 in the second half of its NCAA Tournament First Round game at Wartburg, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a 17-point halftime deficit and the Cobbers lost 75-62. 

Concordia will face No.20-ranked Illinois Wesleyan in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, Mar. 1 at 5:15 p.m. at Wartburg College.
Back Where They Belong

Offensive Player Of The Year & 3 All-MIAC Repeats

Make it a second straight season for the Concordia trio of Carlee Sieben, Makayla Anderson and Emily Beseman to earn MIAC postseason accolades. The three players duplicated their feat from last year as they all earned MIAC All-Conference honors. Sieben did that honor one better as she was named the MIAC Offensive Player of the Year.

Déjà Flu

Concordia caught a case of the déjà flu in St. Peter on Saturday as they stumbled out of the gate, trailed by double digits after the first quarter, could never recover and lost in the MIAC championship game for the second straight year.

30-For-40 Leads To 20 & 20 In Semifinal Win

Concordia went 30-for-40 from the free throw line in its 80-71 win over St. Catherine in the MIAC semifinals. The win is the 20th straight at home for the Cobbers and ups their season win total to 20.

Cobbers Host Second Straight MIAC Semifinal

Concordia will host St. Catherine in the semifinals of the MIAC women's playoff on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. in Memorial Auditorium. The Cobbers earned their second straight MIAC playoff appearance and 18th in program history by going 18-2 in conference play.

A Beautiful Day To Celebrate The Seniors

It was a beautiful day for the annual Senior Celebration Game and the Cobbers weren’t about to let it get away. Concordia held St. Scholastica to only 20 points in the first half of play, honored its two seniors at halftime and then coasted to an 86-52 victory in the regular-season finale.

Cobbers Thwart Oles To Remain Unbeaten At Home

Concordia stepped up at the right moments in the third and fourth quarters to thwart St. Olaf’s upset attempt and remain unbeaten at home this season. The Cobbers used an 18-2 run at the end of the third quarter and the start of the fourth frame to pull away from the Oles and post a 75-57 win.

Home Court Dominance Travels To Minneapolis

Concordia took its home-court dominance on the road to Minneapolis as they outscored Augsburg 21-3 at the end of the first and second quarters, led by 31 points at halftime and cruised to a 90-69 win.

Home Court Pressure Secures Conference Win

Concordia remained unbeaten at home as they led from gate-to-wire in a 72-52 win over Augsburg. The Cobbers held the Auggies to only six points in the first quarter, and led by double digits for the entire second half, in running their home record to 4-0 this season.
