Friese Earns Second Consecutive MIAC Postseason Honor
Junior Jerica Friese (Argusville, N.D./Fargo Shanley HS) earned her second consecutive MIAC postseason award as selected by the conference coaches.
MOORHEAD, Minn. (3/07/23)---Junior Jerica Friese (Argusville, N.D./Fargo Shanley HS) earned her second consecutive MIAC postseason award as selected by the conference coaches.
Friese was named to the MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team after leading the Cobbers in goals and total points in the team's 18 league games.

Friese, who was named to the MIAC All-Conference Team in 2022, finished MIAC play with nine goals and four assists for 13 points. She had four power play tallies and one game-winning strike.
Friese had four multiple-point games in conference play. Her top mark for goal scoring came in the second game at St. Catherine and the second game against St. Scholastica, where she netted two goals. Her game-winning goal came in overtime against Bethel on Jan. 21 when the Cobbers won 3-2.
During the season, Friese was named the MIAC Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 7.
Friese now has 28 goals and 15 assists for 43 points in her 52 career games in maroon and gold.
