Junior Jerica Friese (Argusville, N.D./Fargo Shanley HS) earned her second consecutive MIAC postseason award as selected by the conference coaches.
It was and up-and-down game for the Cobbers on Senior Celebration Day. Concordia scored the game-tying goal with :06-seconds left in regulation against St. Mary's, but then gave up the game winner in the second minute of overtime.
Kiana Flaig turned in another 40-plus save performance in Concordia's shootout game with St. Mary's in the series opener.
The Cobbers gave up a pair of goals in a span of 2:53 in in the first period, and then No.2-ranked Gustavus scored two goals in 3:19 in the second frame to come away with a 5-0 win.
Senior goalie Kiana Flaig (Roseau, Minn.) was named the MIAC Defensive Player of the Week for her 82-save performance in the Cobbers’ split with second-place Augsburg over the weekend.
Concordia senior goalie stopped all 41 shots she faced to help Concordia post a 2-0 win in the series finale against Augsburg.
Concordia allowed the first three goals in their series opener with Augsburg and lost 3-1.
It was a long weekend for the Cobber offense in their series at St. Olaf. Concordia was shutout for the second straight game and dropped a 5-0 decision to the Oles on Saturday.
Concordia conceded the only goal of the series opener at St. Olaf in the final minute of the first period and dropped a 1-0 decision to the Oles.
Concordia was robbed of a game-winning goal in the first 10-seconds of overtime, gave up a goal 104-seconds later and lost 3-2 to Bethel in the series opener.

Concordia skated to a 0-0 scoreless tie with No.2-ranked Wis.-River Falls over the final 27-minutes of their series opener. Unfortunately for the Cobbers, they conceded three goals in the first period, and another midway through the second frame and fell 4-0.
Concordia ran into a high-powered offense on Saturday, and lost 8-0 at No.10-ranked Wis.-Eau Claire.
Concordia was even with No.10-ranked Wis.-Eau Claire for the first 35-minutes of their series opener in Eau Claire, but then the Blugolds scored a pair of unanswered goals at the back of the second and third periods and came away with a 4-2 win.
Grace Doerring skated the puck through the Northland defense and fired a wrist shot from between the faceoff circles that gave Concordia a 2-1 win in OT,
