Concordia returns to the MIAC postseason for the first time since 2015 when they travel to St. Joseph to take on St. Benedict on Monday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m.
Concordia couldn’t come up with their trademark first-half goal to make St. Benedict chase the game and wound up losing 2-0.
Concordia used a pair of first-half goals to beat Augsburg 2-1. The Cobbers got “firsts” goals from Kylie Osborn and Kara Ellis as they beat the Auggies for the first time since 2014.
The Cobber defense stepped into the spotlight in the opening weekend of the season. Concordia lost 1-0 at No.15-ranked Loras on Saturday and then posted a 0-0 draw at Wis.-Platteville on Sunday.
