JAMESTOWN, N.D. (1/22/25) — Concordia turned in several strong individual performances during its dual meet at the University of Jamestown on Wednesday evening. The Cobbers finished with 42 team points and saw meaningful contributions across all event groups as the team continues to build momentum in the second half of the season.
Tinsley Porter led the way for Concordia, capturing the Cobbers' lone event win of the night in the 200-yard backstroke, stopping the clock in 2:52.30. Porter added another strong result with a third‑place finish in the 400 IM, giving her two top‑three placements and a team‑high scoring effort.
Sophomore Leah Enedy also delivered a solid performance, finishing second in the 400 IM with a time of 5:25.02 before placing fourth in the 50 breaststroke. Christina Moore provided veteran consistency, securing third in the 100 IM and fourth in the 50 backstroke as she continues to anchor the Cobbers' medley and IM groups.
In the sprint events, Vylet Frank and Rosie Tran added important depth and points for Concordia. Frank grabbed fourth in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, while Tran earned scoring finishes in the 100 IM and 50 butterfly, helping the Cobbers maintain competitive pressure throughout the lineup.
Concordia's relays closed the night on a strong note. The 200 freestyle relay team — Porter, Moore, Enedy, and Tran, claimed a second‑place finish with a time of 1:57.91, while the Cobbers' 200 medley relay squad earned third to open the meet.
Jamestown earned the overall victory with a 154–42 score, but the Cobbers won't have long to dwell on the result. Concordia faces a quick turnaround as they prepare to take on another Division II opponent this weekend. The Cobbers will host MSU–Moorhead on Saturday at 12:00 p.m., a meet that will also include the team's annual senior recognition ceremony.
