Concordia opened day two of the 2026 MIAC Swimming & Diving Championships with several Cobbers turning in strong efforts during Thursday’s preliminary rounds. Facing deep fields across multiple events, Concordia athletes delivered season-best marks, championship debuts, and steady performances as competition continued at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center.
First-year diver Molly McMullen and the 400-yard medley relay team led the Cobbers on the first full day at the MIAC Championship Meet. McMullen finished in the Top 15 in the 1-meter dive, while the 400-yard medley relay team of Christina Moore, Leah Enedy, Tinsley Porter and Rosie Tran posted a season-best time by a full 16 seconds.
Concordia College got its 2026 MIAC Championship campaign started Wednesday night by scoring 44 total points in the opening finals session at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. With only relay events on the schedule for Day One, the Cobbers capitalized on both opportunities to place in the top eight and put early points on the board.

The Cobbers finished with 42 team points and saw meaningful contributions across all event groups as the team continues to build momentum in the second half of the season.

Concordia finished in fifth place at the season-opening St. Catherine Pentathlon Meet. The Cobbers had three of their non-first year swimmers compete in all five events in a meet that is patterned after a tack & field multi-event competition.
