MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Concordia College got its 2026 MIAC Championship campaign started Wednesday night by scoring 44 total points in the opening finals session at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. With only relay events on the schedule for Day One, the Cobbers capitalized on both opportunities to place in the top eight and put early points on the board.
Concordia's first scoring swim of the night came in the women's 200‑yard medley relay, where the lineup of Christina Moore, Leah Enedy, Tinsley Porter, and Vylet Frank delivered a strong performance to take eighth place in 2:03.34.
The Cobbers doubled that total in the women's 800‑yard freestyle relay, with Tinsley Porter, Christina Moore, Vylet Frank, and Rosie Tran combining for a time of 9:28.13, another major drop from their seed. Their eighth‑place finish secured an additional 22 points, bringing Concordia's Day One total to 44 points.
