Concordia junior setter Kaia Lill was named to the MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team as voted on by the league coaches.
The Cobbers continued their late-season tear as they beat playoff-bound St. Benedict 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-21).
Concordia capped off its 2022 home schedule by playing in its most exciting match of the season inside Memorial Auditorium.
Concordia wasn’t able to carry over the momentum from Friday night’s thriller with No.16-ranked Gustavus, and lost 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-18) to St. Olaf on the annual Senior Celebration Day.
Concordia battled No.16-ranked Gustavus through four tough sets before finally falling 3-1 (29-27, 23-25, 25-13, 25-13).
Concordia dropped the opening point in its match with Crown, and that was one of the last things that didn’t go in favor of the Cobbers, as they rolled to a 3-1 over the Polars in their final non-conference match of the year.
Concordia shook off a tough night in Northfield, and less than 18 hours later, hit a conference-best .271 and swept St. Mary’s 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-22).
Concordia couldn’t carry its winning momentum they grabbed at home on to the road, and lost 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-22) at Carleton.
Concordia finished off Homecoming weekend in style as they posted wins in three consecutive sets, after falling behind 1-0, and beat Macalester 3-1 (17-25, 25-8, 25-20, 25-17).
Concordia was outscored 12-5 down the stretch in sets 2 and 3, and fell 3-1 (25-18, 15-25, 27-25, 25-23) to St. Scholastica.
Concordia stormed back from a 2-1 deficit and beat St. Catherine 3-2 (25-17, 22-25, 23-25, 25-18, 15-8).
Concordia used a career-high 17 kills from sophomore Hannah Keil to roll past Mayville State 3-1 (25-21, 18-25, 25-20, 25-23).
Senior Anna Brakke led Concordia at the 2-day Wartburg Invite. Brakke finished the three matches with a team high in kills on the weekend.
The final seven points of the opening set proved to be the deciding factor in the Cobbers’ conference match with Bethel. Concordia led 24-21 and had three set points to go up 1-0, but then the Royals won six of the next seven points to claim a 27-25 victory.
Concordia gave up an 11-1 run at the end of the first set which led to a 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-8) loss at No.24-ranked Augsburg in the conference opener for the Cobbers.
Concordia competed the pre-conference portion of its schedule by dropping a 3-0 (25-17, 30-28, 25-23) decision at Valley City State.
Concordia split its two matches at the Wis.-Stevens Point Quadrangular Meet. The Cobbers beat Marian (Wis.) 3-1 (25-22, 25-16, 22-25, 25-15) and then lost to No.24-ranked Stevens Point 3-1 (25-12, 25-18, 23-25, 25-16).
Concordia and Presentation battled through a dramatic, exciting home opener with the Cobbers getting edged at the wire.
Concordia finished off its opening by dropping a pair of matches at the Central/Grinnell Invite. The Cobbers lost a dramatic 3-2 decision to host Grinnell, and then fell 3-0 to Greenville (Mo.).
