Concordia outscored St. Olaf in all four quarters and rolled to an 83-57 win which clinched their seventh regular-season championship and first since 2013.

No.21-ranked Concordia outscored St. Olaf in all four quarters, led for the final 38:16 of the game and rolled to an 83-57 win.
The victory clinched the MIAC regular-season championship which is the first title for the Cobbers since 2013 and seventh in program history.
The win gives Concordia 21 for the season and upped their overall record to 21-3. CC is 15-2 in the league and remains one game ahead of St. Mary's in the conference standings.
There would be no need for second-half drama in the title-clinching victory as Concordia used a 14-5 run in the final 4:30 of the first quarter to take a double-digit lead at the break and never looked back.
The Cobbers built the lead to as many as 21 points in the second quarter and went into the halftime break with a 43-25 lead.
CC finished their 21st win of the season by outscoring the Oles 40-32 in the final 20 minutes of play.
Concordia posted its second 50-50 shooting game of the season. The Cobbers shot above 50-percent from the floor and outside the arc. CC shot 50/8% (30-for-59) from the field and 63.6% (7-for-11) from distance against the Oles.
The Cobbers also came away with their second highest free throw percentage of the season. CC was 16-for-19 (84.2%) from the foul line.
MIAC Offensive Player of the Week Maya Metcalf added another 20-point performance to her resume. Metcalf was 10-for-14 from the field, 3-for-4 from 3-point range and finished with a game-high 25 points.
Genevieve Gruba was the only other Concordia player in double figures for scoring. She was a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line and finished with 11 points.
Molly Musland posted a team-high four rebounds and added seven points, while Taylor Safranski came away with nine points and six assists. It Safranski's 12th game of the season where he has recorded at least five assists.
Concordia will finish off the regular season when they travel to Duluth to take on St. Scholastica on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m.
HOME COOKIN': Concordia has now won eight straight home games and is 12-1 on the season inside the friendly confines of Memorial Auditorium.
