Concordia was outscored 21-14 in the third quarter and lost to Bethel in the MIAC playoff championship game as the Cobbers were attempting to capture the championship double.

Concordia finished the regular season on a high note, using a second-quarter surge and a dominant second-half performance to defeat the College of St. Scholastica 74-54 Saturday afternoon, improving to 22-3 overall and 16-2 in MIAC play.

Second-Half Success Lights Up The Knights

Concordia used the first career double-double from senior Molly Musland and an air-tight defense in the second half to dispatch Carleton 82-42. Musland finished with a game-high totals in points and rebounds and the Cobbers held the Knights to only 13 points in the final 20 minutes of play in picking up their 17th win of the season.

Behind a career night from Olivia Hanson, the Cobbers improved to 16–3 overall and 10–2 in conference play with a 66–59 win over Gustavus on Saturday afternoon. Hanson led the way with 16 points on an ultra-efficient 4-of-5 shooting, knocking down three triples and going 5-for-6 at the free-throw line as the Cobbers rallied from a halftime deficit to secure the victory.

Concordia used its depth and outstanding interior play to roll past St. Benedict 77-64. The Cobbers had nine players score at least three points in the victory, held a 36-23 advantage in rebounds and came away with four more points in the paint as they beat the Bennies for the eighth time in the last nine meetings between the two teams.
