Concordia saved its best for last as they claimed a 6-3 win over Hamline in the final match of the 2024 season. The Cobbers recorded a pair of wins in doubles play and then cruised to four wins in the singles competition to record their first MIAC win of the year.

Concordia lost a pair of matches on their conference/non-conference trip to Duluth. The Cobbers fell 9-0 to league opponent St. Scholastica on Saturday and then dropped a 6-3 decision at UW-Superior on Sunday.

Cobbers Go 4-Wheeling To Claim Dramatic Win Over Eagles

Concordia went 4-wheeling in their non-conference match with Northwestern. The Cobbers used the unconventional off-road path to victory as they lost all three doubles matches to start the day, but then rallied to claim five of the six singles matches to prevail by a 5-4 score line.

Cobbers Battle Division II Dragons

Concordia battled Division II MSU Moorhead in its first match of the spring held at Courts Plus in Fargo. The Cobbers had several close matches in the team score that was played under the 7-point DII scoring system where the three doubles bouts only yield one team point.

Cobbers Turn Up The Heat In 2024 Opener

The outside temperatures matched the play of the Cobbers in their 2024 opener against Crown. It was 45 degrees outside the Owatonna Tennis Center on Feb. 3 and Concordia turned up the heat even further against the Polars. The Cobbers didn’t lose a game in doubles play and only dropped four games in singles competition.
