Erin Borchard and her family were honored before the annual Senior Celebration Day for the Cobbers and then Borchard responded with a win in the final home match of her career in Concordia’s final home weekend of the season.
Concordia returned to action after a 9-day break and dropped a 5-2 decision against St. Benedict in Sartell.
You can officially label the Cobbers’ current play as being on a “serious roll”. Concordia notched the team point in doubles and then claimed four of the six singles matches to overtake St. Mary’s 5-2 and earn its fourth win in the last six matches.
The Cobbers fell 7-0 to Gustavus Adolphus College in a MIAC women’s tennis matchup on Saturday afternoon.
It took Concordia a couple of days to get rid of their winter wear, acclimatize to the warm weather and find their outdoor momentum but once they did they rolled to three straight wins. The Cobbers lost the opener on their Florida trip but then rattled off three straight victories to finish their spring training trip at 3-1.
The Concordia-Moorhead women’s tennis team earned a dominant 7-0 sweep over St. John Fisher on Wednesday afternoon in Orlando, Fla.
On Monday, the Cobbers lost a 1-point decision in their opening match in Florida. On Wednesday Concordia turned the tables and battled through a tight back‑and‑forth to come away with a 4–3 victory over Adrian.
Concordia came up just a point short in a tightly contested 4–3 match against Wartburg on Monday at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.
Concordia opened its home account in 2026 by hosting St. Catherine at Courts Plus in Fargo. The Cobbers were able to claim a single win in doubles play but lost the team point for doubles play and fell 7-0.
Concordia-Moorhead women’s tennis earned a hard-fought 4–3 victory over St. Scholastica on Sunday morning, rallying behind a strong singles performance to secure the road win.
The Concordia women’s tennis team showed competitive stretches throughout the lineup but came up short in a 7–0 loss, dropping all singles and doubles matches despite several tight sets and strong individual moments.
It was throwback day at the Cobbers’ match with St. Olaf. Concordia kicked it all the way back to the early 2000’s as they beat the Oles 4-3 in a match that was moved to Courts Plus because of the wind and colder weather.
Concordia opened its 2025-26 dual meet schedule by playing hosting a pair of non-conference opponents on Saturday and then kicked off MIAC play at regionally-ranked Carleton on Sunday.
