Five days ago, Concordia claimed the MIAC Outdoor Meet championship after also winning the indoor title, and now head coach Marv Roeske has also claimed the double as he was named the MIAC Outdoor Coach of the Year to go with his indoor award.

A Program-Showcasing Senior Day Celebration

Concordia honored its seniors and their families before the annual Cobb Open and then showcased its team talent during the five hours during the meet as they proved why they are one of the favorites  to claim the MIAC Outdoor Championship Meet title next weekend.

Record-Setting Relays Highlight Many Miles Weekend

Concordia traveled to Iowa and Jamestown for their annual 3-meet, many miles weekend. The Cobbers had their distance medley relay and sprint hurdle relay teams break 20-year-old school records at the Drake Relays in Iowa.

Top 5 Finishes Abound At The NDSU Spring Classic

The Cobbers went across the Red River and competed at the annual NDSU Spring Classic and turned in several Top 5 finishes at a meet that featured NCAA Division I and II squads.

Marv Roeske was named the MIAC Indoor Coach of the Year and first-year multi-sport athlete Lauren Pearson earned Rookie of the Year honors.

Concordia reaped the rewards for winning its first MIAC Indoor Championship since 1999 by earning two of the four major postseason awards. Head Coach Marv Roeske was named the MIAC Indoor Coach of the Year and first-year multi-sport athlete Lauren Pearson (Cameron, Wis.) earned Rookie of the Year honors.

A True Team MIAC Championship!

Concordia ended its 27-year championship drought by using the strength of its team to capture its fourth MIAC Indoor Championship Meet title in program history. The Cobbers only had three event wins over the two days but used a boat load of podium finishes to tie for the most indoor championships of any school currently in the conference.

Emily Rengo broke the school record in the 55 meters at the MIAC Indoor Championship Meet. Her time of 7.30 broke the old school mark set in 2004.
Relay Win And Rengo Record Propel Cobbers At MIAC Meet

Londyn Ames, Josie Brown, Kyla Nygaard and Kelyn Henry-Perlich won the distance medley relay and Emily Rengo broke the school record in the 55-meter dash on the first full day of the MIAC Indoor Championship Meet.

Concordia finished off the month of January by posting a plethora of MIAC Top 10 marks in both the track and field events.

Concordia went the extra mile in its first meet of 2026. The Cobbers earned four event wins and posted eight Top 3 finishes at the 86th annual Cobber Alumni Open.
