Behind a clutch overtime goal from Caden Triggs, the Concordia-Moorhead men’s hockey team earned a 4–3 victory over Hamline Saturday afternoon. Caden Triggs, scored the game-winner at 4:41 of the first overtime, finishing a strong night with a goal and an assist.
Behind two goals from Tucker Skime, Concordia skated past Hamline 5–2 on Friday night, using a three-goal first period to secure a road MIAC win. The Cobbers improved to 10-8-1 overall and 5-5-1 in conference play.
Tucker Skime scored the game winner in overtime and he team with senior Joe Harguindeguy to post two goals and three assists in Concordia's 3-2 win at St. Olaf.
Joe Harguindeguy and Matthew Hard made sure there would be nothing but smiles on Senior Day as the pair of 4-year Cobbers combined for all three third-period goals in Concordia’s 4-1 comeback win over St. Scholastica.
Concordia built a 6-1 lead going into the third period and made sure there would be no late-game drama as they cruised past St. Scholastica. Seniors Joe Harguindeguy and Matthew Hard scored two goals each to lead Concordia to the 6-2.
Concordia held a one-goal lead through two periods, but Wisconsin–Superior scored three times in the final 20 minutes to rally past the Cobbers, 3–1, on Friday night at Moorhead Sports Center.
Concordia finished off its 2-game series at Marian (Wis.) by scoring four goals in the final two periods to earn a 5-2 victory over the Sabres. The win keeps the Cobbers unbeaten in 2026 and moves their overall record to 4-6-2 on the season.
Concordia erased a late third-period deficit to force overtime, but neither team could find the game-winner as the Cobbers and Marian skated to a 4–4 tie Saturday night in nonconference men’s hockey action.
Concordia only trailed for 4:30 in their series finale with St. Mary's but it came at the end of the game and handed the Cobbers a 3-2 loss as CC settled for a split in the series with the Cardinals.
Concordia used a dominant third period and a 47-shot performance to power past Saint Mary’s on Friday night, earning a 4–1 win in the series opener at the Moorhead Sports Center.
Concordia scored the first and last goals in its series opener at Gustavus but the Gusties were able to come up with a pair of 2-goal bursts which sent the Cobbers to a 4-3 loss.
If the Cobbers’ MIAC opener against Augsburg was any indication of how the conference season is going to play out, then fans might want to have their hearts checked before each game.
The Cali Kid put on his best LA Dodgers costume for Halloween and led the Cobbers to a 5-2 win over Concordia (Wis.) in the season opener for both teams. Joe Harguindeguy (Sr., La Habra, Calif.) scored three of Concordia’s five goals as he recorded his first collegiate hat trick.
